To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what the highest amount earned by any prisoner in jail was in 2013.

To obtain this information would require an examination by each prison establishment of payment transactions made on the central prisoner monies recording system for each of the relevant periods. This would be a significant exercise and could only be done at disproportionate cost.
