Alyson King has been appointed as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, succeeding Emily Maltman who is moving into another role in the Diplomatic Service. King was previously the Deputy Head of the Beirut Mission and she will take up her new role in April 2023.
