Anne Marie Morris is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Newton Abbot in Devon, England, since 2010. She was first elected to the House of Commons at the 2010 general election and has been re-elected in every general election since then. Morris is a member of the European Research Group, a Eurosceptic group within the Conservative Party. She was suspended from the party in 2017 after she used a racial slur during a public discussion on Brexit. She was later readmitted to the Conservative Party after apologising for the incident. Morris is known for her strong views on Brexit and has been a vocal supporter of the UK leaving the European Union.
