BIOGRAPHY :

Maj. Niall Macpherson, who belongs to a well – known Liberal family of lnvernessshire, was born in 1908, and was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, and Trinity College, Oxford. He entered a business career and became manager of a British firm in Turkey. He was commissioned in the Territorial Army in the last war and went on a military mission to Madagascar.
