BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. T. M. Frew is the eleventh of a family of 14, and although his nine brothers followed their father in the shipbuilding industry he became the owner of a drapery business. Aged 35, he went to Victoria School, Newhaven, and Leith Academy. Before the war he took a keen interest in youth welfare and the Boys’ Brigade. He joined, the Territorial Army i? 1939, served at Dunkirk, and was commissioned in 1942.
