BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. J. C. Hope, born in 1909, won a scholarship to Swansea Grammar School and entered a ship repairing firm as an office boy. He is now storekeeper for the firm, and secretary of the workers’ welfare club. He is also secretary of Mumbles Conservative Association and vice-chairman of Swansea West Conservative Association.
