BIOGRAPHY :

Lt.-Col. N. W. Elliott, a china manufacturer of Stoke-on-Trent, is a member of the council of the Liberal Party and contested Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1945. He was educated at Tettenhall College and Birmingham University. He was mentioned in dispatches in the 1914-18 war, and in the last war was, first, colonel in the M.I. branch, and later in charge of the 16th Staffs Home Guard.
