BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. G. Williams entered Parliament as member for the division in 1945. Born in 1903, and educated at Eton and Oxford, he went into business in London, and farmed in his spare time. He is a member of the Conservative finance and agricultural committees, and was chairman of the Small Holdings Committee ; is also keenly interested in agriculture and horticulture, and is a successful point-to-point rider in the locality.
