BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. Carson, born 1920, is a son of the late Lord Carson. After being educated at Eton and Cambridge, and passing through Sandhurst, he obtained a commission in the Life Guards and served in Syria, Italy, and Germany. He had intended to follow his father as a lawyer, but the war interrupted his studies and he entered Parliament in 1945 as member for this division.
