BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. S. V. Howard-Stepney, who is 35, is the son of Sir E. Stafford Howard, of Thorn-bury, and of Lady Howard-Stepney, of Llanelly, who assumed for herself and her children the name of Stepney. Sir Howard was a former Liberal M.P. for the county. Educated at Eton and Magdalen College, Oxford, Mr. Howard-Stepney is keenly interested in agriculture. He served in the Coldstream Guards during the war, and finished as A.D.C. to the G.O.C., Burma.
