BIOGRAPHY :

Lt.-Col. C. J. Kane is a dairy farmer and breeder of pedigree Guernseys, and in 1938-39 was president of the English Guernsey Cattle Society. In the first world war he served in France and Italy, and in the second in West Africa before he was invalided out in 1943. He served with the Control Commission in Germany.
