Maj. W. A. Baker is a schoolmaster. :Since he left the Army in 1947, after 23 years’ seryice, he has been active in trade union and political circles in Hampshire, particularly in the National Union of Teachers and the Portsmouth Labour Party. He has also done a good deal of social work in the district.
