Mr. N. Gratton, a Derbyshi?e man born in 1889, worked first as a half-timer and was for 30 years a cotton doubler. He is an alderman of the Derbyshire County Council. For 11 years he was chairman of the West Derbyshire Labour Party, and an area organizer of the National Union of Municipal and General Workers.
