BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. G. L. Deacon, born in 1893, was a student of commerce at Reading University. He is a company secretary and director, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. He is a former hon. secretary of Ilford Trades Council, and was chairman of Caver-sham Labour Party for seven years. He is on the Surrey County Council, and a member of the Clerical and Administrative Workers’ Union.
