BIOGRAPHY :

Dr. Nora M. Johns, aged 41, of Fariiham, is a widow with one son, aged 15. Since she took her medical degrees in 1924 she has had considerable experience at hospitals in London and Manchester. Recently she gave up medicine for politics. She is vice-chairman of the Public Health Committee of the National Council of Women, and lectures for many organizations concerned with health, education, youth work, and marriage guidance.
