BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. R. Hobson was appointed Assistant Postmaster-General in 1947. A native of Leeds, he is a power station engineer. In 1931 he was elected a member of Willesden Borough Council, and four years later was made an alderman. He has had a long association with the Amalgamated Engineering Union. He was elected M.P. for Wembley North in 1945.
