BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. Martell, deputy-chairman of the Liberal Central Association, has been officially described as ” one of the leading personalities in the Liberal revival.” He is the author of the General Election plan for the Party, was chairman of the Liberal Foundation Fund, and is a member of the Party council and executive. He contested Rotherhithe in the 1946 by-election, and captured a seat on the L.C.C. in the same year.
