BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. McN. Cooper-Key, aged 42, has represented Hastings since 1945. He is married to a daughter of the second Viscount Rothermere and is a director of Associated Newspapers, Limited. He was educated at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, and was commissioned in the Irish Guards. He was personal staff officer to the Chief of Staff in the North African campaign in 1943 and was Plans and Operations officer at General Eisenhower’s headquarters from 1943 to D Day.
