BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. F. P. Bishop, aged 48, is general manager of the Newsprint Supply Company. He was called to the Bar in 1923. For many years he was on the staff of The Times and became assistant manager in 1937. He served in both world wars, and in the latter was second in command of the 5th City of London (Press Battalion) of the Home Guard. The author of several publications on advertising, he has been chairman of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association Advertisement Committee and chairman of the Advertisement Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce.
