Col. A. Guy, managing director of a car sales firm, contested this division in 1945. He is active in local affairs, being president of the Rotary Club and chairman of the local group of hospitals under the Health Act. Also a former president of the Gloucester Chamber of Trade ; of the Motor Agents Association ; and of the British Motor Trade Association.
