Mrs. D. Pickles, a lecturer and writer, was born at Bridlington, Yorks, and is the wife of the senior lecturer in political science at the London School of Economics. She lectures in political science at Morley College for working men and women. She has acted as interpreter at international Socialist conferences since the war.
