BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. Booth was born on February 24, 1893, and started work as a half-timer. For 16 years he was a member of Bolton Town Council and has been mayor. He has taken a great interest in the work of the local Y.M.C.A., and is also chairman of t?e Bolton Savings Committee. He is a Methodist local preacher.
