BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. R. Bence, the son of a farmer, was born 47 years ago near Bristol, and received an elementary school education. For many years he lectured on financial and economic problems. Twelve years ago he moved to Birmingham, where he has continued his party activities. He is a tool maker by trade, and during the war was chairman of the joint production committee in his factory.
