BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Anthony Fell, who lost the 1949 by-election by 1,613 votes, was born in 1914 and educated at Bedford Grammar School and in New Zealand. He has been a sheep farmer and engineer, and is a member of the Institute of Industrial Administration. Mr. Fell unsuccessfully contested Brigg in 1948.
