BIOGRAPHY :

Lt.-Cmdr. C. Tyers was born in Battersea, and went to Lavender Hill School and Salesian College. After service in the R.N.V.R. in the war he took a hotel in Broadstairs, where he is a member of the urban council. He is a football referee and commanding officer of Sea Cadets at Ramsgate.
