BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. De la Bere has been member for Evesham (which forms the major part of this new constituency) since 1935. He is a managing director of Hay’s Wharf, Limited, and other companies, and an alderman and past sheriff of the City of London. His sharp ejaculations criticizing Ministerial replies to questions have long been a feature of question hour in the House of Commons.
