BIOGRAPHY :

Dr. A. Brown was born in Leeds, educated in London (where he qualified in medicine) and went to Wolverhampton in 1935. He is a member of a family of doctors. An amateur boxer, he has reached the London University finals and has boxed for both his university and the united hospitals. He is a qualified referee, and a founder member of Wolverhampton Amateur Boxing Club. From 1941 to 1948 he served in the R.A.M.C. with the 14th Army.
