Mr. H. Watkinson, 40, was educated at King’s College, London. An engineer, he is director of a machine tool company. He was engaged for three years in technical journalism and publishing, and served for six years with the Royal Navy, rising to the rank of lieutenant-commander. He was recently appointed chairman of a committee set up to increase efficiency in the machine tool industry.
