BIOGRAPHY :
Miss J. Crowther, aged 29, a domestic science teacher at Liverpool, is prominent in the Young Conservatives movement and, besides holding offices in local and regional organizations of the party, is on the Young Conservatives national executive and a member of the Central Council of the National Union of Conservative Associations. She is specially interested in foreign affairs, maternity and child welfare, and industrial conditions. She worked in a Rochdale cotton mill during a vacation.
