BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. S. N. Evans, born in 1898, started work with a Birmingham firm of chartered accountants, but after returning from four years’ service in the 1914-18 war he established a moulding sand business. From 1939 to 1945 he was a road transport organizer and became M.P. for the division in the latter year. He is chairman of a publishing society.
