Mr. F. L. Neep is 44, and leaving school at 13 took spare-time technical and commercial courses. After working in the building and steel trades he became managing director and editor of a London publishing house. He next started business as an underground mining contractor, which ceased on nationalization, and he then turned his full-time attention to politics.
