BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. H. G. Studholme first became member for Tavistock in 1942, and was a member or the L.C.C. from 1931 to 1945. During the war he was military liaison officer to the Regional Commissioner, London, during the air raids. He became a Conservative Whip in 1945. Born in 1899 and educated at Eton and Magdalen College, Oxford, he is a landowner in Devon and is interested in agriculture and forestry.
