Mr. H. S. Seaborne, aged 52, is director of an engineering firm at Solihull. He served in France in the first world war, after which he studied engineering abroad. During the last war he was plant adviser to the Ministry of Works, and is a founder member and general secretary of the Institution of Incorporated Plant Engineers.
