BIOGRAPHY :

Wo. Cdr. N. J. Htjlbert, who has sat for Stockport since 1935, is 45, and a native of Kent. A freeman of the City of London, he served on the L.C.C. from 1934 to 1937. From 1939 to 1943 he served in an operational command of the R.A.F., and was later liaison officer to the Polish forces. He is chairman of a Birmingham steel firm.
