BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. G. B. Drayson has represented the Skipton division since 1945. He was born in 1913 and became a member of the London Stock Exchange in 1935. He is a director of two textile firms and a member of the Royal Agricultural Society. He served in the Army during the war, was taken prisoner in the Western Desert, and escaped by walking 500 miles across German-occupied country.
