BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. L. H. Storey, aged 43, is in the timber trade, and is director of a large Manchester firm. He is an executive member of Hardwood Importers’ Section, Timber Trade Federation, and the Kiln Owners’ Association, and was area secretary of the Timber Control until 1945, when he resigned to contest Wavertree. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, and is a governor of Widnes Technical College.
