BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. T. Macpherson was elected for Rom-ford in 1945. He is chairman and joint managing director of a firm of produce importers, and was regional port director for Scotland in the war. He is a breeder of Ayrshire cattle at his home at Great Warley, Essex. As chairman of the Thames Passenger Service Interest Committee under the Ministry of Transport he was one of those responsible for the introduction of the Thames water-buses. A keen sportsman, he is president of Romford Football Club.
