BIOGRAPHY :
Lt.-Col. J. C. Lockwood was M.P. for Central Hackney, 1931-35. He was unsuccessful at a by-election at Bexley in 1946. He is a barrister. In the first world war he served with The Essex Regiment and the Coldstream Guards, and was legal adviser to Shaef in the second. He is treasurer of the R.S.P.C.A., and a member of the Diocesan Finance Committee and of the London-over-the-Border Committee.
