BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. T. Scollan has been an engineer and organizer for the National Union of Distributive and Allied Workers. He is a former president of the Scottish T.U.C. and a member of its general council. He has served on the Glasgow Corporation, and is secretary to the Sugar Confectionery and Food Preserving Trade Board. A past chairman of the Glasgow Trades Council, he entered Parliament in 1945, when he captured Western Renfrew from the Conservatives.
