BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. D. C. Rissik comes of a South African family, but was born near Manchester in 1919. After leaving Harrow he read history at Oxford University and was elected to the executive of the Conservative Association there. Commissioned with The Durham Light Infantry in 1940, he served in India and Burma, including the first and second Arakan campaigns, and attained the rank of lieutenant-colonel. He formed the Seer Green Conservative Association in Buckinghamshire and became its chairman. He is a lawyer.
