BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. D. Hinchcliffe is a native of Batley and holds an honorary degree in history from Cambridge University. He joined a Manchester firm of cotton spinners and manufacturers, and since 1937, with the exception of the war years, has represented them in Leeds and South Yorkshire. He served with the R.A.F. during the war.
