BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. F. H. Wegg-Prosser, a solicitor aged 40, was educated at Downside and Oriel College, Oxford. He unsuccessfully contested this constituency in 1945 in which year he became a member of Paddington Borough Council. For a time in the war he was employed in the Political Intelligence Department of the Foreign Office.
