BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. H. R. Gower, born in Neath in 1916, was educated at University College, Cardiff, and the Cardiff School of Law, and is a partner in a Cardiff firm of solicitors. He served during the war in the Royal Observer Corps and in Civil Defence. He is secretary of the Friends of Wales Society and a member of the Welsh Council of the ^United Nations Organization.
