BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Ithel Davies resigned in 1940 from the Labour Party, in whose interest he unsuccessfully contested the University of Wales seat in 1935. He joined the Welsh Nationalists in 1942. He spent three years in prison during the first world war after refusing to serve, regarding the war as a conflict of imperialistic powers. He has written books on economic and social topics.
