BIOGRAPHY :
Mr. Tom O’Brien, aged 50, is general secretary of the National Association of Theatrical and Kine Employees and member of the T.U.C. Council. Born in 1900 and educated at St. Mary’s School, Llanelly, he started work as an errand boy and overstated his age to join the Army in 1915. He is a member of the Cinematograph Films Council, and president of the Federation of Theatre Unions and of the Film Industry Employees Council.
