BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. J. W. Robinson, born in 1898, has many interests in the fishing industry. He was president of Fleetwood Fish Merchants’ Association for record period, 1940-47, and for two years chairman of the Federation of British Port Wholesale Fish Merchants’ Associations. He is also chairman of companies of trawler managers and wholesale fish merchants. He was educated at the Grammar School, Grimsby, and has served on Grimsby Town Council since 1945.
