BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. K. Lewis was public relations officer to County of London Electric Supply Company until nationalization, when he resigned rather than serve with the State concern, and started his own publicity business. He contested this seat in 1945. He was educated at Jarrow High School and Edinburgh University, and was formerly labour and personnel manager of a shipbuilding firm.
