Dr. O. Vaughan Jones, 57, is the son of a Congregational minister. He has been active in the Liberal Party in North Wales for many years, and is a member of the executive of the Welsh Liberal Party. He has practised as a doctor for 23 years, and been public assistance medical officer, Caernarvonshire, and medical officer to North Wales Teachers’ Training College.
