BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. T. Braddock, aged 62, was elected in 1945, when he won the seat from the Conservatives. He is an architect, and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Grissell Gold Medalist of the R.I.B.A., and holder of the silver and bronze medals of the London Architectural Association. He was formerly a member of the Surrey County Council and the Wimbledon Borough Council. He joined the Socialist movement when he was 18, and is a founder member of the Labour Party.
