BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Emrys Roberts, who was born at Caernarvon, became a solicitor in 1936 and a barrister in 1944. He served in the Royal Air Force during the war, was elected for Merioneth in 1945, and has been a member of Parliamentary delegations to Yugoslavia, Germany, and Rumania. He was president of the Liberal Party of Wales, and served the National League of Young Liberals similarly in 1946-48.
